All travelers should familiarize themselves with Turkey’s entry requirements before setting out on their journey. All travelers entering Turkey will undergo a medical examination for signs of Covid, including temperature checks.
These are the current entry requirements and the Covid regulations you must adhere to if you are thinking about traveling to Turkey from the UK.
What Are the Entry Requirements for Turkey?
All Covid entry requirements to Turkey have been eliminated as of June 1, 2022. As a result, you are no longer required to provide documentation of a negative Covid test or to show proof of your vaccination status in order to enter Turkey.
All travelers entering Turkey will be subject to a medical examination for Covid symptoms, including temperature checks, and may be required to submit to a PCR test.
s a new entrant ling ly ling ling a a ly a The vaccine must be authorized by the World Health Organization or the Turkish Ministry of Health, and at least 14 days must have passed since receiving your second dose. The NHS Covid Pass is recognized by Turkey as valid vaccination documentation.
Those who are not fully vaccinated will need to show proof of:
- a negative PCR test, taken no more than 72 hours before entry, or
- a rapid antigen test, taken no more than 48 hours before entry, or
- proof of a recent recovery from Covid within the last six months
If You’re Fully Vaccinated
Regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status, all travelers must meet the same entry requirements to enter Turkey. You can enter Turkey without having to show documentation of your vaccination status.
If You’re Not Fully Vaccinated
No matter if you have received your COVID-19 vaccination or not, you must meet the same requirements to enter Turkey.
If You’ve Had COVID-19 in the Last Six Months
No matter if you tested positive for COVID-19 within the last year, the entry requirements for Turkey are the same for everyone.
Children and Young People
Children and young people don’t have any particular requirements.
